Konrad is a Graduate Trainee, and he said: “I help ensure our customers receive a positive experience. The team and I add value to our customers through our passion for delivering the highest levels of support and developing strong relationships.”
Konrad joined us nearly five months ago, and he was motivated by “the opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking company within the packaging industry”.
He added: “There is a lot of experience within the company, which was highly attractive. I am keen to learn and develop my knowledge and understanding of the industry. Also, the company is built on strong core competencies - the 6 Cs - long-lasting relationships, and trust. That was a key element in my decision to join KM.”
Previously, Konrad worked for RPC containers and Belgrade Polymer Products where he provided customer service and sales functions. He said: “I gained valuable experience in working in a fast-paced environment and providing quality service to customers under tight time constraints.”
Great team spirit
That experience has already served him well at KM, and Konrad said: “Every team member here is very supportive and welcoming, and I have felt valued and a part of the team since day one. I have also learned a thing or two about lidding film!”
Of course, starting a new role can be demanding, and Konrad said: “It has been somewhat challenging with most people working from home during the pandemic.
“However, there has been constant communication amongst all levels and a great team spirit. We have been able to provide excellent customer service thanks to careful planning, regular updates within the team, and clear communication.”
When not proving customer service at KM, Konrad enjoys spending time with his partner, family, and friends. He’s also a massive fan of Formula 1, has regularly visited Monaco with friends, and has driven along some of the streets used as part of the famous race circuit.
Boxing is another great passion. Konrad said: “In my spare time, I work out, keep fit, and I’m investing in some boxing training equipment for home.
“One of the things to tick off my bucket list is to have a professional boxing bout. My amateur record is 2 wins to 0 losses. So, I’m still unbeaten!”
We reckon that Konrad is a champ, in and out of the ring.
